Mifuyu Mikagami (水鏡 美冬, Mikagami Mifuyu) is the older sister of Tokiya Mikagami who was killed by Kōran Mori's men as they were in search of the Ensui, a Madogu that was held by the family for generations. Tokiya was only 10 years old at the time and witnessed the murder. After the killers sensed a dangerous presence approaching, they left out of fear and were soon hacked to bits by Meguri Kyōza, the very person whom they sensed. Since then, Tokiya sought revenge. Mifuyu resembles Yanagi Sakoshita in appearance, which explains why Tokiya is very protective when it comes to Yanagi (she reminds him of Mifuyu).
Etymology[]
- The name Mifuyu means "beautiful" (美) (mi) and "winter" (冬) (fuyu).
- Mifuyu's surname Mikagami means "water" (水) (mi) and "mirror, looking glass" (鏡) (kagami).
